LY
Born in Tokyo, LY is a painter who depicts street view she visited traveling and landscape she has been imagining since youth, only in white, black and gray. In these cityscapes, LY places a monster which is a projection of her thoughts and feelings. She studied painting at an art school when she was small, and later in her education, she encountered street art, murals and graffiti which influenced her to land where she is right now. Presently, she aims to create new communication through her mural in each city.

Sculpture Collaboration
“I’M LUV” by LY x UB
Released in September 2020, “I’M LUV” was our debut sculpture collaboration with LY. Crafted in cast resin + 3D printed plaster, the piece embodies LY’s iconic figure LUV in a three-dimensional form. Made in an Edition of 20, the piece sold out in record time.
